TRAVEL TO/FROM DUBLIN

Dublin Airport now offers a great choice of cities with services to 29 airports in the UK and an ever expanding European network currently covering 112 airports. The long-haul network at Dublin Airport provides 17 scheduled services to North America with many of these cities offering great connections for travel from various parts of the US.

Within at most 2 hours and 30 minutes Dublin can be reached from any of the European hub cities, and 1 hour from London. The following are some of the airlines and alliances operating direct flights to/from Dublin and which have extensive connections from international cities:

  • British Airways/One World Alliance
  • British Midlands/Lufthansa/Star Alliance
  • KLM/Air France
  • Iberia
  • Ryanair
  • Aer Lingus

TRAVEL TO/FROM TCD FROM AIRPORT

If you are travelling to Trinity College Dublin from Dublin Airport, we recommend you take the airport shuttle service called AIRCOACH. It departs the airport every 7 minutes & is a luxury coach service that stops directly outside Trinity College (the Grafton Street stop).

Please note that if you decide to take a coach service from the airport, you should ensure you take ONLY AIRCOACH, not Airlink or any other coaches as they will not drop you at Trinity College, but instead will drop you at the bus station & you will have to walk quite a distance to Trinity College.

The rate is Euro 7.00 per person one way or Euro 12.00 per person return.

For information on AIRCOACH see http://www.aircoach.ie/map.routes.ballsbridge.php

Alternatively, a taxi will cost Euro 35.00 – 45.00 one way.
