INFORMATION ABOUT CAMERA READY SUBMISSION

TECHNICAL SESSION

To present your accepted paper and to consider its inclusion in the Proceedings of IM 2011, you are required to

1. Address the reviewers' comments, and create your final manuscript.
Maximum number of pages is as follows:

 ▪ Main technical program: Max 8-page paper in the IEEE double-column format
 ▪ Mini-conference program: Max 8-page paper in the IEEE double-column format
 ▪ Poster sessions: Max 4-page (short) paper in the IEEE double-column format
 ▪ Application Sessions: Max 15 annotated visuals, including title and references

Page size: we will accept "US Letter" only, no A4 or other format

2. The templates for IEEE double-column paper format (8-page or 4-page) for IEEE Conference Proceedings in MSWord and LaTeX can be found at:
  http://www.ieee.org/web/publications/pubservices/confpub/AuthorTools/conferenceTemplates.html.

For IEEEtran class in LaTeX, use the following as the first line in your LaTeX source file:
 ▪ \documentclass[10pt, conference]{IEEEtran}

Note: with IEEE conferences papers, the author affiliation is listed under the author's name, unlike IEEE transactions papers

3. Go to IEEE PDF eXpress Website (
http://www.pdf-express.org)

 ▪ Create an IEEE PDF eXpress account (use conference ID: IM2011x; use 'new user' if you haven't used this site  before.).
 ▪ Use IEEE PDF eXpress to check if your PDF file is Xplore-compliant, OR, else, you can use this site to convert your source files into an IEEE Xplore-compliant PDF file (e.g., for LaTeX users, create a zip file that includes dvi and your eps figure files all together, and then upload the zip file for the system to convert into a compliant PDF file; for MSWord users, upload the Word file and let it convert and return a compliant PDF file)

Camera Ready PDFs for upload must be the ones received from PDFxpress
Authors can have their own PDFs checked or have them created by xpress

4. Upload the Xplore-certified PDF file by January 15th, 2011 to the JEMS system at

 https://submissoes.sbc.org.br/im2011

5.  IEEE copyright is collected electronically, starting in JEMS:
a) Start on the view-paper page and press the big button "Submit to IEEE Copyright System".
b) Feedback to JEMS is automatic, but authors should keep the confirmation mail for further reference and backup.
c) Authors with third-person approvers start the process via JEMS and will submit details
of the approver online. The approver will get a email to complete the process.

6. At least one author of the paper must register at the full registration rate. A full author registration will allow up to maximum of three accepted papers (in the main technical program, or the mini-conference, or the poster session, or the application sessions), in case you have multiple accepted papers.
Visit the main participant registration page here.

7. We strongly recommend that you check your Visa Situation.
